Union Street Market invites the community to celebrate its first anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 22 — with all-day merchant discounts and specials, gift card giveaways, live music from Bobcat Opossum, and a special rooftop viewing of the Night of Lights fireworks.
Union Street Market officially opened its doors on Nov. 22, 2022, with a vision to serve as a food hall and public market focused on local food and beverage entrepreneurs. Over the past year, the Market has expanded from 11 to 17 merchants — all of which are small, independently-owned businesses.
On Nov. 22, the Market and its merchants will celebrate this special anniversary with all-day discounts and specials, multiple gift card giveaways, and a live performance from Bobcat Opossum, an Americana duo with members from the band Debutants, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. — plus a special viewing of Night of Lights fireworks on Electric Works’ rooftop, which is normally closed to the public.
Ermin Husidic, Market Director of Union Street Market, said, “We’re very excited to celebrate a successful first year at Union Street Market with all the merchants who operate here. With 17 diverse food and beverage merchants at the Market, it’s become a welcoming place where the community can gather, and where there’s truly something for everyone. We look forward to continued growth, with more concepts opening soon.”
Union Street Market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m on Nov. 22, with anniversary activities planned throughout the day. Because of limited capacity, registration is required for the rooftop fireworks. For more information or to register, visit Union Street Market’s events calendar.
